Ohio Communication Journal – Call for Submissions

The Ohio Communication Journal (OCJ) is now accepting manuscripts to be considered for publication in volume 62, which will be released online in spring 2024.

We invite Ohio-based scholars and those residing in other parts of the world to contribute to this award-winning, peer-reviewed publication. OCJ features cutting-edge scholarship, ranging in methodological and theoretical approach, focused on a broad array of communication contexts and contemporary societal issues. We will consider full-length manuscripts (typically 5,000-7,500 words) that adhere to the journal’s submission guidelines. For our next volume, we also welcome short essays (not to exceed 2,500 words) focusing on the role of artificial intelligence (e.g., ChatGPT) in communication pedagogy and research.

All full-length articles and short essays must be submitted through the OCJ online system: Ohio Communication Journal. The submission deadline is Friday, September 15.

Please contact Dr. Patrick Dillon (pdillon2@kent.edu) with questions pertaining to OCJ submissions.
